Post-fabrication frequency trimming of coplanar-waveguide resonators in circuit QED quantum processors

We present the use of a set airbridges to trim frequency microwave coplanar-waveguide (CPW) resonators post-fabrication. This method is compatible with fabrication steps conventional CPW and crossovers increases device yield by allowing compensation design uncertainty 100 MHz range 10 resolution. showcase two applications in circuit QED. The first elimination collisions between intended readout different transmons frequency-division multiplexing. second matching Purcell-filter resonator pairs. Combining this transmon trimming laser annealing reliably achieves fast high-fidelity across 17-transmon quantum processors.
